Pursuant to Section 6 (2) of the Federal Statistics Act of 3 September 1953 (Bundesgesetzbl. 1314), as last amended by the Introductory Act on the Penal Code of 2 March 1974 (Bundesgesetzbl. 469), the Federal Government, with the consent of the Federal Council, states:

§ 1
A federal statistic is carried out in 1974 on the type and extent of occupational retirement provision.

§ 2
(1) In the survey, with the exception of bodies, institutions and foundations of public law, the enterprises of selected areas with 10 and more employees of the following sectors are included:

Manufacturing industry without construction;

2.
-
Trade;
-
3.
-
Transport and communications;
-
4.
-
credit institutions and insurance;
-
5.
-
Services provided by businesses and free professions.
(2) The survey shall be carried out in a representative form.

§ 3
The survey shall cover:

1.
-
the forms of occupational retirement provision,
-
2.
-
the number of enterprises with occupational pensions and the number of employees who are expected to benefit from occupational pensions;

3.
-
the average amount of the monthly pension which is reached in the enterprise at the time of the survey after 35 years of service;
-
4.
-
the expenditure incurred by enterprises for occupational retirement provision in 1973.

§ 4
The holders or managers of the companies surveyed shall be responsible for providing information in accordance with § 10 of the Federal Statistics Act.

§ 5
This Regulation shall apply in accordance with Section 14 of the Third Code of Transfer Law of 4 January 1952 (Bundesgesetzbl. I p. 1) in conjunction with Section 17 of the Law on Statistics for Federal Purties, also in the Land of Berlin.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day on which it is announced.
