§ 3 Survey units

§ 7 survey type, periodicity, survey period, characteristics

(1) The ground use main survey is carried out in the period from January to May:
1.
in general in 2010 and 2016, where features are used to use the surfaces

§ 8 Survey characteristics and reporting time

§ 9 Survey units

Survey units of the ornamentals survey are the holdings according to § 91 (1), the areas of which are where flowers or ornamental plants or their respective young plants are grown, at least 0.3 hectares in the open land or at least 0.1 hectare under high accessible protective covers. § 10 Survey type, periodicity, survey period

The ornamentals survey is generally carried out in 2012, in 2017, and then every four years in the period from July to October. Non-official table of contents

§ 11 Survey properties and reporting time

(1) Survey characteristics of the ornamentals survey are
1.
in the cultivation of flowers and ornamental plants:
a)
the base area by planting groups in the open country and under high walkable protective covers,
b)
the heated floor area under high walkable protective covers,
c)
the number of potted plants produced by plant groups, plant species and usage,
d)
Cut flowers and ornamental plants on average the cultivation area by plant species in the open land and under high walkable protective covers

Subsection 5
Vegetable survey

§ 11a Survey units

Survey units of the vegetable survey are the holdings according to § 91 (1)
1.
with land of at least 0.5 hectares in the open country or at least 0.1 hectare under high walkable protective covers, on which vegetables or strawberries or their respective young plants ,
2.
with production sites for edible mushrooms of at least 0.1 hectare.

§ 11b survey type, periodicity, survey period

(1) The vegetable survey is carried out:
1.
at the establishments according to § 11a number 1
a)
generally every four years, starting in 2012,
b)
annually with the exception of the years in which the survey referred to in point (a) takes place, as a sample at a maximum of 6 000 establishments, beginning in 2013;
Survey characteristics for the harvest in years with a general survey of at most 6 000 holdings determined;
2.
for the enterprises in accordance with Section 11a (2) generally annually, beginning with the reference year 2012.
(2) The survey referred to in paragraph 1, point 1, shall not be carried out in the Länder of Berlin and Bremen.(3) The survey period for the establishments referred to in Article 11a (1) shall be the months of June to December. In order to obtain a preliminary result for asparagus and strawberries, a preliminary survey will be carried out between June and September. The main survey will be carried out in the period from October to December.(4) The survey period for the establishments referred to in Article 11a (2) shall be the months of January and February of the following year. (1) Vegetable survey characteristics are
1.
at the holdings according to § 11a number 1
a)
to grow vegetables and strawberries:
aa)
the area of cultivation and harvest by plant groups, plant species, crop forms and types of coverage, asparagus and strawberries, in addition to the state of the Yield capability,
bb)
in years with a general vegetable survey, in addition to the base area
b)
for the cultivation of young plants: the ground area in the open country and under high walkable protective covers
2.
at the establishments according to § 11a, point 2: the production area, the area under cultivation and the harvest quantity for types of edible mushrooms,
3.
for all plant species: the ecological mode of the year in the year under review.
(2) The reporting period for the survey characteristics referred to in paragraph 1 (1) (a) A double letter aa is the current calendar year. The reporting period for the survey characteristics referred to in paragraph 1 (2) shall be the previous calendar year. The reporting date for the survey characteristics referred to in paragraph 1 (1) (a) (bb) and (b) is the date of the first invitation to provide information.

Tree school survey

§ 17c Survey properties and reporting time

(1) The survey characteristics of the shrub collection are

Livestock survey

§ 18 survey units

§ 20a Special provisions for the collection of the Bovine herds

1) The survey characteristics for stocks of bovine animals as data collected by administrative authorities on the basis of non-statistical laws, regulations or administrative provisions, or otherwise in such cases, shall be the national characteristics of bovine animals (1). § 26 Survey type and survey programme

(1) The agricultural structure survey is carried out in general in 2010, in which: Years 2013 and 2016 as a sample of at most 80 000 survey units.(2) By way of derogation from paragraph 1,

(1a) Additional survey characteristics of the agricultural structure survey in 2016 in the survey units according to the second sentence are:

the survey features referred to in paragraph 1 (9): the months of March of the previous year to February of the survey year,

§ 95 survey bodies, survey officers
