On the basis of § 2 para. 2 of the Training Promotion Act of 19. September 1969 (Bundesgesetzbl. 1719), as last amended by the Third Law amending the Training Promotion Act of 14. May 1971 (Bundesgesetzbl. 666), the Federal Government, with the approval of the Federal Council, decrees: Non-official table of contents
§ 1 preliminary courses
(1) Training funding after the Training Promotion Act shall be provided for participation in pre-courses of a minimum period of six months, which shall be subject to approval
- to a college or
- to a college
, or prepare it in a suitable way. If pre-courses according to point 2 are carried out in adult education centres, they must be separated from the other courses.(2) Training funding shall only be provided if the training is carried out at a public or approved facility, officially recognised or approved by the competent State authority. The same shall apply where the competent State authority recognises that the visit to the institution is equivalent to the visit to the bodies referred to in the first sentence. § 2 Training status of apprentices

- in the pre-courses referred to in § 1 (1) (1), such as pupils of vocational schools,
- in the preliminary courses referred to in § 1 (1) no. 2, such as pupils of vocational schools, where the attendance of the pre-courses is completed, vocational training or a multi-year
- in the pre-courses referred to in section 1 (1) (2), such as pupils of secondary general education schools, to the extent that the visit to the Pre-courses do not require completed vocational training or professional activities for several years.
§ 3 Berlin-clause
This regulation applies in accordance with Section 14 of the Third Transfer Act of 4. January 1952 (Federal Law Gazans I p. 1) in connection with § 42 of the Training Promotion Act also in the Land Berlin. Non-official table of contents
§ 4 Entry into force
This regulation occurs with effect from 1. It was in force in January 1971.
