On the basis of § 2 paragraph 2 of the Training Promotion Act of 19 September 1969 (Federal Law Gazette). 1719), as last amended by the Third Law amending the Training Promotion Act of 14 May 1971 (Bundesgesetzbl. 666), the Federal Government, with the consent of the Federal Council, prescries: Unofficial table of contents

§ 1 Pre-courses

(1) Training promotion according to the Training Promotion Act shall be provided for participation in pre-courses of a minimum duration of six months, which shall be subject to approval.
1.
to a college or
2.
to a university
or prepare it in a suitable manner. If pre-courses according to point 2 are carried out in adult education centres, they must be separated from the other courses. (2) Training funding is only provided if the training is carried out at a public or at a public institution. competent State authority shall be carried out by the competent State authority. The same shall apply where the competent State authority recognises that the visit to the institution is equivalent to the visit to the bodies referred to in the first sentence. § 2 Position of the trainees

The trainees receive training funding
a)
in the pre-courses referred to in Article 1 (1) (1), such as pupils of vocational schools,
b)
in the preliminary courses referred to in Article 1 (1) (2), such as pupils of vocational schools, in so far as the attendance of the pre-courses is preceded by a completed vocational training or a multi-year professional activity,
c)
in the preliminary courses referred to in Article 1 (1) (2), such as pupils of secondary general education schools, in so far as the attendance of the pre-courses does not require a completed vocational training or a multi-annual professional activity.

§ 3 Berlin clause

This Regulation applies in accordance with Section 14 of the Third Transfer Act of 4 January 1952 (Bundesgesetzblatt I p. 1) in conjunction with Section 42 of the Training Assistance Act in the Land of Berlin. Unofficial table of contents

§ 4 Entry into force

This Regulation shall enter into force with effect from 1 January 1971.
