Pursuant to Section 182 (3) of the Federal Law on Compensation for Victims of National Socialist Persecution (Bundesentschädigungsgesetz) in the version of the Act of 29 June 1956 (Bundesgesetzbl. 559) is ordered with the consent of the Federal Council: Unofficial table of contents

§ 1

(1) The costs incurred by the insurance institutions for their participation in accordance with Section 182 (1) of the Federal Compensation Act shall be reimbursed to them in accordance with the following flat-rate arrangements:
1.
in the case of information on simple investigations
3 Deutsche Mark per insurance certificate;
2.
in the case of information on the basis of extensive investigations or with technical calculations
6 Deutsche Mark per insurance certificate;
3.
in the case of information with technical calculations in particularly difficult cases with demonstrably increased costs
9 Deutsche Mark per insurance certificate.
(2) In the case of information on the compensation which is more favourable to the person concerned pursuant to § 128 (3) and § 129 (3) of the Bundesentschädigungsgesetz (Bundesentschädigungsgesetz), the flat rates according to paragraphs 1 (2) and (3) of the Federal Compensation Act increase by 3 Deutsche Mark. § 2

This Regulation shall apply in accordance with Section 14 of the Third Code of Transfer Law of 4 January 1952 (Bundesgesetzbl. 1) in connection with Section 240 of the Bundesentschädigungsgesetz (Bundesentschädigungsgesetz), also in the Land of Berlin; it does not apply in the Saarland.

§ 3

(1) This Regulation shall enter into force with effect from 1 April 1956. (2) Insofar as prior to the proclamation of this Regulation, costs following the announcement by the President of the Federal Supervisory Office for the Insurance and Construction Savings of 19 February 1954 (Federal Gazette No 37 of 23 February 1954), it reserves the right to apply it.
