§ 1 Scope

This Regulation shall apply to the equipment and operation of the hot-air balloons and hot-air airships approved for circulation in accordance with the provisions of the Air Transport Authorisation Order. Unofficial table of contents

§ 1a Definitions

(1) Hot-air balloons and hot-air airships shall be referred to hereinafter as balloons and as airships. § 5 Baskets and airship gondolas (to § 19 LuftBO)

(1) In the case of balloons for more than 6 occupants, the baskets must be provided with partition walls, which divide them into individual compartments for 6 persons or less. The partition walls must be designed in such a way that they can absorb the forces caused by the occupants in the event of landing. § 8 Operating restrictions (to § 3 LuftBO)

§ 14 Composition of the crew (to § 41 LuftBO)

§ 15 Requirements for the members of the crew (to § 42 LuftBO)

(1) The trader may only use an aircraft driver if he has carried out the inspection trips in accordance with § 42 paragraph 3 LuftBO on the largest balloon or on the largest airship on which he is used in the company. § 17 Administrative Offences

Contrary to the provisions of Section 58 (1) (10) of the Air Traffic Act, who intentionally or negligently acts

Section 18 Entry into force

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day after the date of delivery.
