Pursuant to Section 87a (5) sentence 3 of the Second Housing Act, as amended by the Notice of 11 July 1985 (BGBl. 1284), as last amended by Article 12 of the 1989 Budget Accompanying Act of 20 December 1988 (BGBl. 2262), the Federal Government decrees: Unofficial table of contents

§ 1 Scope

(1) This Regulation shall apply to loans from housing assistance granted after 31 December 1969, directly or indirectly for public service members or similar groups of persons from public budgets of the Federal Republic of Germany. have been made available directly for the promotion of family homes (Section 7 of the Second Housing Act) or self-used condominiums (Section 12 of the Second Housing Act). § 2 Interest rate increase

(1) The loans shall be subject to interest rates of 4.5 per annum, subject to § 3, with an interest rate of 4.5 per annum. (2) The higher rate of interest shall begin with the payment period following the entry into force of this Regulation (Section 18b (4) of the Housing binding law). Unofficial table of contents

§ 3 Limit of interest rate increase

The rate increase in accordance with section 2 (1) is limited in such a way that the monthly additional charge does not exceed 100 Deutsche Mark per apartment. Unofficial table of contents

§ 4 exclusion period

Objections to the effects of the interest rate increase under this Regulation may only be claimed by the debtor of the loan within six months of receipt of the notice on the increase in interest. The person administering the loan shall draw the attention of the debtor to the exclusion period in the communication on the interest rate. Unofficial table of contents

§ 5 Berlin clause

This Regulation shall apply in accordance with Section 14 of the Third Code of Transfers in connection with Section 125 of the Second Housing Act, also in the Land of Berlin. Unofficial table of contents

§ 6 Entry into force
