Section 6 Transitional arrangements for the war-related pension

(1) In the case of persons who are only entitled to apply for a war-related pension under this law, the war-related pension shall be granted by 31 March 1960 with effect from 1 June 1959, at the earliest, however, from the first of the month in which the person responsible for the war shall be entitled to a war. (2) The granting of a settlement sum pursuant to Section 12 (3) of the Eighth Law amending the Burden-Equalisation Act (Act pursuant to Section 246 (3) of the LAG-8 Act). ÄndG LAG) of 26 July 1957 (BGBl. 809) does not preclude the granting of a minimum amount of filling pursuant to Section 278a (4) of the Act on Burden-Equalisation. Unofficial table of contents

§ 7 Application in Berlin

This law applies in accordance with Section 12 (1) and Section 13 (1) of the Third Transfer Act of 4 January 1952 (BGBl. I p. 1) also in the Land of Berlin. Legal orders issued pursuant to this Act shall apply in the Land of Berlin pursuant to Section 14 of the Third Transfer Act. Unofficial table of contents

§ 8 Application in Saarland

The provisions of this Act shall not apply in the Saarland, except for § § 4 and 5. Unofficial table of contents

Section 9 Entry into force

(1) This Act shall enter into force on the day following its announcement. Subject to paragraph 2, the provisions of § § 1 to 3 shall apply with effect from the entry into force of the burden-equalisation act (§ 375), the provisions of § § 4 and 5 of the entry into force of the Federal Law on Displaced persons and of the General Law on the Law of the Federal Republic of Germany. (2) The following provisions of § 1 shall apply with effect from 1 June 1959:
Point 8 (Section 265 of the LAG),
Point 9 Points (a) to (c) (Section 267 (1) and (2)),
Number 10 (Section 268 of the LAG),
Point 11 (Section 269 of the LAG),
Point 12 (§ 273 LAG),
Point 13 (Section 274 of the LAG),
Point 14 (Section 275 of the LAG),
Number 15 point (b) (Article 276 (4) of the LAG),
Point 16 (Section 277 of the LAG),
Number 18 (Section 280 of the LAG),
Point 19 (Section 282 of the LAG),
Point 21 Point (a) (Section 292 (2) and (4)).
