Type 3 Transitional arrangements

From the date of entry into force of this Act, Article 1 (2) and (3) shall apply mutas to the increases in contribution which will take effect after 11 March 1997 and before the entry into force of this Act. The period of notice referred to in Article 1 (2) shall be replaced by the date on which the entry into force of the scheme enters into force instead of the day on which the contribution is increased. Article 1 (4) and Article 2 (2) shall not apply to increases in the contribution of contributions which have become effective before 31 December 1998. In the application of Section 221 (2) of the Fifth Book of the Social Code, reductions in contributions remain on the basis of § 2 para. 1 of the Law on the discharge of statutory health insurance from 1 November 1996 (BGBl. 1631). Type 4 Entry into force

(1) (2) In addition, this law shall enter into force on the day after the announcement.
