Summary

This Decree draws the consequences of the statutory reform of the corps of professional high school teachers, which took place in May 2002, which established a preparatory cycle for the external competition for access to the body of teachers of Professional high school. The objective of this reform was to encourage candidates to compete in this competition by providing funding for the preparation of the competition. This preparatory cycle in the external competition is accessible by competition, on the one hand, to candidates justifying a Level IV (Baccalaureate) or V (CAP-BEP) diploma and a significant professional practice in a speciality for the sections Corresponding to the trades, that is to say those for which there is no diploma above the baccalaureate and, on the other hand, to candidates holding a diploma or diploma endorsing two years of post-secondary education for All other sections. In parallel with the introduction of this preparatory cycle for the external competition, a revaluation of the independent treatment of teachers, decided by the Finance Law for 2002 (2001-1275 of 28 December 2001), is being carried out. It is therefore necessary to provide for the amendment of Decree 48-1108, as amended, in order to enhance the unspeakable treatment of the pupils in the institutions providing the preparatory cycle for the access to the body of the Professional high school teachers. Effective 1 September 2002.
