Members
The public interest group called ECOFOR is Formed between:
-the National Centre for Agricultural Mechanics, Rural Engineering, Waters and Forests;
-the Centre for International Cooperation in Agronomic Research for Development;
-the National Research Centre Scientific;
-the National School of Rural Engineering, Water and Forests;
-the National Institute of Agronomic Research;
-the Institute for Research for Development;
-the National Forest Office.
Object
The purpose of the grouping is to promote a significant and coordinated development of basic and applied research activities devoted to knowledge of temperate forest ecosystems, Mediterranean And tropical, of their dynamics, their operation and their evolution or transformation under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors.
Siege
The seat of the grouping is Fixed at 19, avenue du Maine, Paris (15th).
Duration
The grouping is extended for a period of ten years as of February 27, 2003.
Rights and Obligations
In their dealings with each other, as in their dealings with third parties, members are required to meet the obligations of the group as a proportion of their statutory rights. They do not show solidarity with third parties
