Key Benefits:
By order of the Minister of Transport, Equipment, Tourism And the sea as of January 18, 2007, the tests for admission competitions in the following merchant marine schools:
-1st Class Officers Training Entrance Competition;
-Competition Admission to the professional machine,
will take place on 15 and 16 May 2007.
The competition centres are:
a) Métropole: Paris, schools of the merchant marine of Le Havre, Saint-Malo, Nantes and Marseille;
b) Overseas: Regional Directorates for Maritime Affairs in Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Réunion, Eparses Islands, Maritime Affairs, French Polynesia, New Caledonia and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon;
(c) Etranger: at the request of the French diplomatic representation as soon as a candidate wishes to compete.
The deadline for the return of registration dossiers is set at midnight on 14 April 2007.
The President of Jury will list Candidates who are eligible to compete for each event with the test centre.
The board chair will send each person in the centre with a call-up template that will specify, for records received on time, but Incomplete, the date beyond which they will be definitively rejected. This date will correspond to the jury deliberation meeting.
Candidates will be invited individually by the competition centre manager. However, failure to receive the summons shall not be the responsibility of the administration. As a result, candidates who have not received their invitation by the date of 2 May 2007 must, by 9 May 2007, contact the service with which they have withdrawn their registration.
The subjects of the tests will be addressed by Administration to closed-ply competition centres. These will be open only in the presence of the candidates and at the beginning of each event.
