Summary


The purpose of this Order is to fix the compensation plan of the Chairman of the General Committee on Terminology and Neology.
The French language enrichment facility established by the Order in Council of July 3 1996 is characterised by the central role entrusted to the General Committee on Terminology and Neology.
Placed with the Prime Minister, the General Committee on Terminology and Neology is the cornerstone of the The French language. It coordinates all the work of the commissions of terminology and neology, liaises with the Académie française and carries out the transmission of the lists approved to the official journal for publication
19 members: its president, appointed by the prime minister for a period of four years, five members of the law, including the perpetual secretary of the Académie française, and thirteen qualified persons appointed for 4 years by the Minister of Culture and Communication on the proposal of the most directly concerned ministers and the vice-chairman of the Conseil supérieur de la langue française.

The chairman of the general committee is responsible for ensuring The conduct of the whole enrichment procedure of the French language, with the support of the general delegation to the French language, which provides the secretariat of the general committee;

On the report of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, Minister of Culture and Communications, and the Minister of the Environment

Item 1
The chairman of the General Committee on Terminology and Neology may receive a monthly lump-sum allowance not subject to deductions for civil pensions and social security, the amount of which is fixed by The Minister responsible for the budget, the minister responsible for culture and the minister responsible for the public service.
