In view of the decree of 29 December 2000 authenticating the results of the supplementary censuses carried out in Some municipalities for the year 2000;
Due to requests from mayors of interested municipalities;
In view of the opinions of the Regional Directors and Heads of Service of the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies and The Director of the Territorial Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies of New Caledonia;
In view of the opinions of the prefects and the High Commissioner of the Republic in New Caledonia,

The numbers of the total population, the municipal population and the population counted in the The Decree of 11 December 1996, the Decree of 29 December 1999, as amended by the Decree of 17 October 2000 and the Order of 29 December 2000 referred to above, are, in respect of the communes exhaustively listed in the table attached, amended and arrested In accordance with the indications in columns d, e and f of the said table.
The new population figures of the said Shall, subject to contrary legislation or regulations, be taken into account for the application of laws and regulations as of January 1, 2002.
The new population of the total population of the communes listed in the attached table (column d) is increased flat during the two years 2002 and 2003, in accordance with the Figures in the table (column g).
The number of the population thus increased (d + g) will be used for calculation Grants from the State to municipalities, the allocation of the overall operating endowment, for any distribution of common funds and for the calculation of the tax potential per capita.
The municipalities benefiting from a fictitious population allocation for the years 2002 and 2003 pursuant to this Order shall conduct a census In the course of 2003 pursuant to Article D. 2151-6 of the General Code of Territorial Communities.
The Director General of the local authorities and the Director of Political, Administrative and Financial Affairs of the Overseas Territories shall each have responsibility for the execution of this Order, which shall be published in the Official Journal Of the French Republic.
