Decree n ° 2006-74 of 24 January 2006 on the technical operating conditions to be met by health care facilities for paediatric resuscitation activities and Pediatric continuous monitoring

In view of the Public Health Code;
In light of Decree No. 2002-466 of 5 April 2002 on Technical operating conditions to be met by health care facilities for resuscitation, intensive care and ongoing monitoring and amending the Public Health Code (Part III: Decrees);
In view of the opinion of the Hospitalization Board as of December 15, 2004;
In view of the opinion of the National Council of the Health and Social Organization (Health section) of 6 January 2005,
Décrète:

Item 1 Read more about this Article ...


I. -Article D. 6124-34 of the Public Health Code becomes Article D. 6124-28-1.

Subsection 2 of Section 1 of Chapter IV of Title II of Book I of Part Six of the Public Health Code (Regulations) is amended as follows:
I.-The words: § 1. Common provisions " Are inserted before item D. 6124-27.
II. -In the first sentence of Article D. 6124-29, the words: In Article D. 6124-31 " Are replaced by the words: " Articles D. 6124-31 for adult resuscitation and D. 6124-34 for pediatric or specialized pediatric resuscitation ".
In the third sentence of this article, the words: In Article D. 6124-31 " Are replaced by the words: " Respectively in Articles D. 6124-31 and D. 6124-34 ".
III. -The words: 2. Provisions for adult resuscitation " Are inserted after item D. 6124-30.
IV. -In Article D. 6124-30, the second paragraph is deleted.
V.-In the first sentence of Article D. 6124-31, the word: Adult " Is inserted after the words: " Resuscitation unit ".
The last paragraph of this item is deleted.

VII. -The following provisions are inserted after Article D. 6124-33:


" § 3.
pediatric resuscitation and specialized pediatric resuscitation provisions


" Art. D. 6124-34. -In any paediatric or specialized paediatric resuscitation unit referred to in Article R. 6123-38-1, medical permanence shall be ensured by at least one doctor satisfying one of the following conditions:
" 1 ° Qualified as a specialist In pediatrics;
" 2 ° Be qualified as a specialist or competent in resuscitation or qualified medical resuscitation specialist.
" These physicians have experience in neonatal or paediatric resuscitation when exercising Pediatric resuscitation and pediatric resuscitation when exercising specialized pediatric resuscitation.
