ARRETE
Decree of 24 December 2004 applying to certain anchorage pegs of Decree No. 92-647 of 8 July 1992, as amended concerning the suitability for the use of construction products

Minister of Equipment, Transportation, Land Use Planning, Tourism and the Sea and the Minister Delegate to Industry,
In view of the Council Directive European Communities 89 /106/EEC of 21 December 1988 on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States concerning construction products, as amended by Directive 93 /68/EEC of 22 July 1993;
In view of Decree No. 92-647 of 8 July 1992 concerning the suitability for the use of construction products, as amended by Decrees Nos. 95-1051 of 20 September 1995 and No. 2003-947 of 3 October 2003;
In the light of the decree of 31 July 1992, amended by The decree of 18 December 2002 laying down the list of bodies authorised to issue European technical approval,
Stop:

Article 1


The provisions of the aforementioned Decree of 8 July 1992 shall apply from the date of publication of this Stopped by the following construction products:
-metal anchors for concrete: pegs at sealing;
-metal anchors for the attachment of light systems in concrete.

Article 2


In accordance with the respective provisions of Articles 2, 3 and 10 of the Decree of 8 July 1992, they may only be fitted with the CE marking Metals which have obtained European technical approval and comply with the procedure for attestation of conformity applicable to them.

Article 3


By way of derogation from the provisions of Article 1 above and as a transitional measure, the products covered by this Order which do not comply with the provisions of the Decree of 8 July 1992 referred to above may be placed on the market for the first time until 1 August 2006.
Products placed on the market for the first time before the end of the transitional period defined in the preceding paragraph and which do not satisfy the Provisions of the said Decree may be marketed until 1 August 2008.

Article 4


The Director General of Industry, Information and postal services and the Director of Economic and International Affairs shall each have responsibility for the execution of this Order, which shall be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
