By decision of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry and Minister of Research dated 8 December 2001, Amendment No. 3 to the Convention Constituting the Public Interest Grouping RENATER is approved.

    Members


    The public interest group (GIP) called RENATER is made up of:
    The state, which is:
    -the department responsible for National Education;
    -the Department of Research;
    The Office of the Atomic Energy Commissioner;
    The National Centre for Space Studies;
    The National Centre for Scientific Research; and
    The National Research Institute Computer and automatic;
    The National Institute of Agronomic Research;
    The Centre for International Cooperation in Agronomic Research for Development.


    Object


    The Purpose of ensuring the control of the work of a national telecommunications network for research, technological development and education, to assist in the development of regional networks with a vocation Scientific and technical, ensure communications with networks of other countries and participate in international connection projects.


    Head Office


    The headquarters of the consortium is set at ENSAM, 151, boulevard de l' Hôpital, 75013 Paris.


    Duration


    The group is extended for a period of three years until 3 February 2005.


    Rights and obligations


    In their dealings with each other as in their dealings with third parties, members are bound by the obligations of the group as a proportion of their statutory rights. They do not show solidarity with third parties
