ARRETE
Decree of 7 December 2001 amending the Decree of 15 September 1982 on the trade in seeds of fodder plants

The Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry and the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries,
In view of Council Directive 66 /401/EEC of 14 June 1966 on the Marketing of seeds of fodder plants, as amended in particular by Council Directive 2001 /64/EC of 31 August 2001;
In the light of Decree No. 62-585 of 18 May 1962 on the National Interprofessional Group on Seeds, Seeds and Plants (GNIS);
In accordance with Decree No. 81-605 of 18 May 1981 for the application of the law of 1 August 1905 on the suppression of fraud with regard to the trade in seeds and plants, as last amended by Decree No. 2000-1165 of 27 November 2000;
In view of Decree No. 93-46 of 14 January 1993 on the reorganization of the Standing Technical Committee on the Selection of Cultivated Plants;
In the light of the decree of 15 September 1982 concerning the marketing of Forage Seeds, as amended by the Order of November 4, 1994,
Stop:

Article 1


Paragraph C of Annex I to the Order of 15 September 1982 is replaced by the following provisions :


" C.-Forage plant seeds to be marketed only in the seed category with no qualifier
(a) Grass:
Brachypodium (Brachypodium phoenicoides Roehm and Sch.) ;
Brome (Bromus spp.) Other than brome of type ceratochloa;
Crételle (Cynosurus cristatus L.);
Moha (Setaria viridis).
b) Pulses:
Anthyllide (yellow sand clover) (Anthyllis vulneraria L.);
Subterranean clover (Trifolium subterraneum L.).
c) Other species:
Achillea (Achillea millefolium L.);
Coronille (Coronilla varia L.);
Leucanthemum (Leucanthemum vulgare Lam.) ;
Plantain (Plantago lanceolata L.);
Pimprene (Sanguisorba minor Scop. S.I);
Saponaria (Saponaria oxymoides L.). "

Item 2


Table 3 of Schedule II to the Order is replaced by the table attached to this Order.

Article 3


In the notes to table n ° 3, appearing in the general notes of Annex II to the same order, the following note is inserted After note a:
" (b) The number in brackets indicates, in relation to pure seeds, the maximum percentage of hard seeds that should be considered as seeds likely to germinate. "
As a result, notes b and c become notes c and d respectively.

Article 4


The table in Annex IV of the same Stopped is replaced by the following table:

Article 5


The Director General of Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention and the Director of Economic and International Policy are Responsible for the execution of this Order, each of which shall be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
