ARRETE
Order of January 6, 2006 approving the Bureau Veritas to attest compliance of packages designed to contain 0.1 kg or more of uranium hexafluoride

The Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry and the Minister of Ecology and Sustainable Development,
In light of Law No. 42-263 of 5 February 1942 on the Transport of dangerous goods;
In view of the amended Order of 1 June 2001 on the transport of dangerous goods by road (said ' ADR ") ;
In the light of the amended Order of 5 June 2001 on the transport of dangerous goods By rail (dit " RID ") ;
Seen at the request of Bureau Veritas as of 1 September 2005;
In view of the opinion of the Interministerial Committee on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (CITMD) consulted on 21 December 2005,

Item 1


Bureau Veritas is a certified inspector to attest compliance of packages designed to contain 0.1 kg or more of uranium hexafluoride to the controls referred to in sections 6.4.21.2 and 6.4.21.3 of the above-mentioned ADR and RID orders.

Item 2


The Veritas Office must, in order to deliver its certifications, respect the procedures set out in the procedures established in this regard by its care and endorsed by the Minister responsible for Industry and the Minister responsible for Environment.

Article 3


Bureau Veritas is obliged to comply with all directives and procedures relating to the application of the Shall be notified to it by the Minister responsible for industry and the Minister responsible for the environment, in accordance with their powers laid down in Article 3 of the ADR and RID.

Article 4


In accordance with article 39 of the ADR, the regional branches of industry, research and environment (DRIRE) control the activity of the Bureau Veritas.

Article 5


This approval may be withdrawn, suspended or restricted in the event of a serious breach of obligations Set by the ADR and RID orders or the conditions of Article 2 of this Order.

Article 6


The provisions of this Order, Revocable at any time, shall be effective until 31 December 2010.

Article 7


The Director General of Nuclear Safety and Radiation protection is responsible for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Gazette of the French Republic.
