Position Description
Key Activities:
-High Level Advisor to Security of information systems for the benefit of the Chief of the Naval Staff in his/her role as a qualified authority;
-Deputy Head of Information and Communication System (CIS) responsible for coordination of all Traceable aspects to the functional safety of information systems (ISS) for the navy;
-responsible for the certification processes for systems under the responsibility of the Chief of the Navy;
-responsible for the Internal audit process SSI.
Job missions:
-declination within the navy of policies defined at the departmental level and definition of internal security policy for information systems;
- Place of the relevant directives, organisations, resources, means of pilotage and control;
-coordination of the definition of the different internal security policies of the systems and sites in respect of classified information of Defence, national and allied, as well as sensitive information;
-facilitation and steering of the network of experts and correspondents of the SSI functional pathway within the navy;
-participation in different commissions or groups Internal to the Ministry of Defence and dealing with ISS;
-definition and promotion of a risk management and trust policy for the connection of different networks and systems;
-corresponding for the navy Departmental organizations dealing with the SSI domain;
-participation in the definition according to the levels of employment of the Marine Personnel SSI competencies.
Candidate Profile
Significant experience both operational and technical in the SSI domain.
Significant experience in certification and audit processes.
Thorough knowledge of organizations related to the organization of the SSI within the state, and To the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union (EU).
Demonstrated experience in the management of teams or projects.
Desired experience within the CSSI.
Experience in the field of
Age: greater than 35 years and less than 50 years when signing the contract due to constraints related to the age limits of the military status.
Skills required for the position
An experienced engineer with qualifications or a qualifying course in the field of ISS.
Engineer with significant professional experience and a team and project management capability.
Physical location of the job
Area and duty station: navy headquarters, Paris (8th).
