ARRETE
Order of 19 December 2003 for the approval of APAVE Group for the Control of Large Bulk Containers for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways

The Minister of Equipment, Transport, Housing, Tourism and the Sea,
In the light of Council Directive 94 /55/EC of 21 November 1994 on the Approximation of the laws of the Member States concerning the transport of dangerous goods by road;
Having regard to Council Directive 96 /49/EC of 23 July 1996 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States concerning The transport of dangerous goods by rail;
In view of Law No. 263 of 5 February 1942 on the transport of dangerous goods;
In view of the Decision of 1 June 2001 on the transport of dangerous goods by road, Said " ADR " ;
In view of the Order of 5 June 2001 concerning the transport of dangerous goods by rail, says " RID " ;
In view of the opinion on the periodic inspection of large bulk containers for transport Dangerous goods;
Given the request dated 24 October 2003 from APAVE Groupe, sis 191, rue de Vaugirard, 75015 Paris;
In view of the opinion of the Interministerial Committee on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, consulted on 19 November 2003,
Stop:

Article 1


APAVE Group a recognised organisation, in the context of Chapter 6.5 of Annexes A of the ADR and I The said RID Order, for the periodic inspection and testing of large bulk containers referred to in sub-sections 6.5.1.6 (6.5.1.6.4) and 6.5.4.14.
However, this approval shall be valid only to the extent that APAVE Group shall remain a recognised organisation for the periodic inspection of tanks referred to in sub-section 6.8.2.4 of the above annexes.

Article 2


APAVE Group shall, in order to carry out the operations resulting from its authorisation referred to in Article 1, comply with the procedures laid down in the procedures established in that regard by its care and endorsed by the Minister responsible for Transports.

Article 3


APAVE Group is obliged to observe the procedures dealing with the application of the regulations which Are published in the Official Gazette or notified to it by the Minister responsible for transport.

Article 4


The provisions of the This Order, which is revocable at any time, is in effect until December 31, 2004.

Item 5


The Director of Transportation Shall be responsible for the execution of this Order, which shall be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
