Summary


As part of the professionalization of armies, it was decided to replace dental surgeons in the contingent by career military personnel.
To this effect, a corps of dental surgeons Was created by Decree 2000-187 of 1 March 2000 on the model of the military corps of doctors, chemists and veterinary biologists.
Decree 74-515 of 17 May 1974 on the special status of military bodies As a result, physicians, chemist chemists, and veterinarian veterinarians have been modified to take this new body into account.
It is now necessary to integrate dental surgeons into the military. Various orders and orders dealing with military pay and allowances.
The proposed amendments are of a purely technical nature. The texts to be amended are: - Decree 75-64 of 30 January 1975, this decree establishes the system of special bonuses and qualifications specific to the medical corps of the armies, to which dental surgeons can claim, - the decree 78-1145.These two texts set out in effect the specific remuneration scheme for medical students, chemists and veterinary biologists in the armies, which is also intended to apply to student surgeons. DECRET
Decree No. 2002-55 of 11 January 2002 amending various decrees relating to the situation of military personnel

The Prime Minister,
On the report of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, the Minister of Defence and the Minister of the Public Service, and the reform of The State,
In the light of Law No. 72-662 of 13 July 1972 on the General Status of the Military;
In the light of Decree No. 74-515 of 17 May 1974, as amended concerning the special status of the military corps of doctors, chemist pharmacists, Veterinary surgeons and dental surgeons-dentists of the armies;
In light of Decree No. 75-64 of 30 January 1975 on qualification, pay-time subsidies and the special compensation scheme for doctors, pharmacists Chemists and veterinarians in the military;
In light of the amended Order No. 78-1145 of December 7, 1978 fixing the pay plan for students' career officers,
Describes:

Item 1
The aforementioned decree of 30 January 1975 is amended as follows:
I.-The title is replaced by the following title:
" Decree n ° 75-64 of 30 January 1975 on the qualification, improvement of Physicians, chemist pharmacists, biologists, and dental surgeons in the armed forces. "
II. -In the first paragraph of Article 1, in the first paragraph of I and II of Article 2 and in Article 3, the words: And veterinary biologist veterinarians " Are replaced by the words: " To biologists and dental surgeons Armies ".
III. -In the penultimate subparagraph of Article 1, the words: And veterinarian chief veterinarians " Are replaced by the words: " , veterinarians in chief, dental surgeons, principal dental surgeons, and Chief Dental Surgeons ".
IV. -In the last paragraph of I of Article 2, the words: And veterinarian chief veterinarians " Are replaced by the words: " , to chief biologists and chief dental surgeons ".
V.-Section 4 reads as follows:
" Art. 4. - In addition to the statutory allowances allocated to officers, the specific indemnities of physicians, chemists, biologists and dental surgeons of the armies include:
" -a special bonus Acquired from physicians, chemists, biologists and dental surgeons as soon as they are appointed to the first rank of their bodies;
" -a premium for the first level of qualification;
" -a Premium for second level of qualification;
" -a premium for the third level of qualification;
" -a flat-rate medical care allowance.
" During the first year of service at grade 1, the Chemists, biologists and army dental surgeons collect the special premium at a reduced rate.
" Special and qualifying premiums do not accrue to each other. "
VI. -In Article 6, the words: Or a veterinarian-in-chief of services " Are replaced by the words: " , of the chief veterinary biologist or chief dental surgeon, ".
VII. Article 8 reads as follows:
" Art. 8. - With regard to compensation for military expenses, travel expenses and any other allowances, the conditions of which are determined according to the ranks of the general military hierarchy, the doctors, Chemists, biologists, and dental surgeons in the military receive, depending on the rank held, these allowances at the rates for:
-captains: physicians, chemists, veterinarians Biologists and dental surgeons;
-commanders: primary physicians, chemists, principal chemists, senior biologists and principal dental surgeons;
-lieutenant-colonels: chief physicians, pharmacists Chief Chemists, Chief Veterinary Officers and Chief Dental Surgeons of the first three levels;
-Colonels: Chief Medical Officers, Chief Chemists, Veterinarians in Chief and Surgeons-Chief Dental Officers The last two levels and the exceptional level;
-general officers: physician heads of services, chemists chemists, service leaders, veterinary surgeon-chiefs of services and dental surgeon-dentists. "

The decree of 7 December 1978 referred to above is amended as follows:
I.-In the second paragraph of Article 1, the words: And biologists biologists " Are replaced by the words: " , veterinarians Biologists and dental surgeons ".
II. -The last paragraph of Article 2 shall be replaced by the following:
" Pharmacist chemists, veterinary biologists and dental surgeons are classified in pay range 4 as of their admission in the sixth year Pharmaceutical, veterinary or odontological studies. "
