By order of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries dated November 13, 2006, The agricultural cooperative Atlantic Fruits, whose head office is located in La Châtaigneraie (Vendée), is recognised as an organisation of producers in the fruit and vegetable sector. The co-operative is recognized for the fruit category in the electoral districts of the Southwest and the Loire Valley.
