By order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Culture and communication of December 26, 2003, the following cultural property: Circle of Diego Velasquez, Pope Innocent X, oil on canvas, inv. 1937.1.80, belonging to the National Gallery of Art, Washington, United States of America, is elusive during the period of its loan to France, from March 21, 2004 to July 31, 2004, pursuant to the provisions of Section 61 of the Law No. 94-679 dated 8 August 1994.
This work is presented as part of the exhibition " Francis Bacon, the sacred and the profane " At the Dina Vierny Foundation, Maillol Museum, from 7 April 2004 to 30 June 2004.
