In light of Decree No. 94-525 of 27 June 1994 amending the organization of the Group of National Schools of Economics and Statistics ;
In view of the Decree of 12 May 1997 laying down the conditions for the organisation of the recruitment competitions of the National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies and the admission competitions of students holding the National Statistical School and Analysis of information and the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration;
In view of the decree of 26 April 2002 concerning the organisation of competitions for admission to different engineering schools,

In accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of the Decree of 27 June 1994, non-public servants are admitted to the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration (ENSAE) by Contest, or titles.

    A Economics and Social Science Option, a Economics and Mathematics Option, and a Mathematical Option competition are organized each year for the admission of non-public servants. These competitions are organised according to the following procedures.

      The competition consists of written eligibility tests and oral admission tests. Candidates are classified separately on the basis of eligibility and admission tests.

      The tests for the Economics and Social Sciences Option are:


      IFILE. - Written evidence of eligibility


      Evidence 1 (duration: six hours; coefficient 20): social science test. This test consists of a dissertation with documents.
      Evidence 2 (duration: four hours; coefficient 25): composition of mathematics.
      Evidence n ° 3 (duration: three hours; coefficient 10): foreign language test. This event, at the choice of the candidate, carries on one of the following modern languages: German, English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Russian. It consists of a version exercise dealing with a text of general, economic and/or sociological interest, possibly supplemented by an exercise of expression in the chosen foreign language, in response to one or two questions on the text. The use of the dictionary is prohibited, except for Japanese, for which the use of one or more bilingual or unilingual dictionaries is permitted.
      Test n ° 4 (duration: five hours; coefficient 15): test for options (candidate must Choose an option to register):
      -Sociology test;
      -economy test.
      Written tests are borrowed from the Inter-ENS Social Science (B/L) test bank.


      II. -Oral evidence of admission


      Evidence n ° 1 (duration: forty-five minutes; coefficient 12): from an economic and/or sociological and/or historical record, the presentation is followed by questions and then an interview To assess the candidate's culture and motivations.

      Evidence 2 (duration: four hours; coefficient 25): composition of mathematics.
      Evidence N ° 3 (duration: four hours; coefficient 10): foreign language test. This event, at the choice of the candidate, is one of seven languages: German, English, literary Arabic, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Russian.
      Evidence 4 (duration: four hours; coefficient 15): history, geography and Geopolitics of the contemporary world.
      The written tests are borrowed from the test bank of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


      II. -Oral evidence of admission


      Evidence n ° 1 (duration: thirty minutes; coefficient 12): presentation consisting of a synthetic presentation of documentation, followed by a conversation of fifteen to twenty minutes with the Examiners.

      Nominees for admission to titles as non-public servants at the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration must be less than From thirty years to 1 January of the year of filing of the file. They must:
      Either justify a degree at least equivalent to a master's degree or a year of master's degree in economics or econometrics;
      Either justify a degree or level at least equivalent to a master's degree or diploma. Year M1 of master in mathematics or mathematics applied to the social sciences;
      Either justify a degree at least equivalent to a master's or a year M1 of master's degree in science and technology, or a second year of Magisterium in a specialty that is predominantly economic, computer, mathematical or statistical;
      Either have the diploma or have satisfied the exit exams of a school member of the conference of the major schools;
      Either be a student or a former Pupil of one of the higher normal schools;
      Either justify a diploma issued by a university or a foreign institution of nature and level comparable to the previous ones.
