Summary

The purpose of this Order is to upgrade the amounts of the minimum old-age pension, the minimum reversion pension and by way of consequence of the allowance for adults with disabilities. The arrangements for the revaluation of the minimum old age shall not be fixed by any text. They are subject to a decree revaluing various benefits of old age and invalidity and the additional allowance mentioned in art. L. 815-2 and L. 815-3 of the aforementioned code, taken every year at the same time as the order for the recovery of pensions. It is therefore proposed to upgrade, as from 1 January 2003, the amount of the minimum old age and the minimum pension amount of 1.5 %. This rate, identical to that used for contributory pensions in the 2003 financing bill, helps to preserve the purchasing power of pensioners. The result is the same recovery of the allowance for adults with disabilities in accordance with the provisions of Art. D. 821-3 (al. 1) of the said Code.
