In light of the amended Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 October 2003, establishing a system for the exchange of greenhouse gas emission quotas in the Community and amending Council Directive 96/61/EC, including its Article 27;
Vu le environmental codeincluding articles L. 229-5-1, L. 229-18 and R. 229-22,
Decrete:
For the year 2014, the amount of the fine provided for in fourth paragraph of Article L. 229-18 of the Environmental Code is equal to the product of the volume of greenhouse gas emissions in excess of the emission limits determined under section R. 229-22 of the same code multiplied by €6.01 per ton of carbon dioxide equivalent.
The Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy is responsible for the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
