Decree No. 2015-295 of 16 March 2015 setting out the list of international conventions on fundamental human rights under Article L. 117-1 of the Consumer Code

Publics concerned: manufacturers, producers, distributors and consumers of a good marketed in France.
Subject: setting up the list of international human rights conventions provided for in theArticle L. 117-1 of the Consumer Code.
Entry into force: the text comes into force on the day after its publication.
Notice: theArticle L. 117-1 of the Consumer Code establish a consumer information procedure on the manufacturing conditions of products marketed in France that are respectful of international conventions on fundamental human rights. This decree sets out the list of these international conventions.
References: this decree is taken for the application of theArticle L. 117-1 of the Consumer Code, in his writing from theArticle 93 of Act No. 2014-856 of 31 July 2014 relative to the social and solidarity economy. This Decree is available on the Legifrance website (http://www.legifrance.gouv.fr).

Title I of Book I of the second part of the Consumer Code is supplemented by two chapters as follows:


“Chapter VI

"Art. D. 117-1.-In the sense and for the application of Article L. 117-1, constitute international conventions on fundamental human rights:
« 1° The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, opened for signature in New York on 19 December 1966;
« 2° The International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, opened for signature in New York on 19 December 1966;
« 3° The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, opened for signature in New York on 1 March 1980;
« 4° The Convention on the Rights of the Child, signed in New York on 26 January 1990;
« 5° The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (as an optional protocol), signed in New York on 30 March 2007;
« 6° La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La Convention No. 29 of the International Labour Organization on Forced Labour, adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 14th session, held in Geneva on 28 June 1930;
« 7° International Labour Organization Convention No. 87 on Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise, adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 31st session held in San Francisco on 17 June 1948;
« 8° Agreement No. 98 of the International Labour Organization concerning the application of the principles of the right to organization and collective bargaining, adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 32nd session held in Geneva on 1 July 1949;
« 9° International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention No. 100 on Equal Remuneration between Men's Workforce and Women's Workforce for Work of Equal Value, adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 34th session held in Geneva on 29 June 1951;
« 10° La Convention No. 105 of the International Labour Organization concerning the abolition of forced labour, adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 40th session, held in Geneva on 25 June 1957;
« 11° La Convention No. 111 of the International Labour Organization concerning Discrimination (Employment and Occupation), adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 42nd session held in Geneva on 25 June 1958;
« 12° International Labour Organization Convention No. 138 on Minimum Age for Admission to Employment, adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 58th session held in Geneva on 26 June 1973;
« 13° La Convention No. 182 of the International Labour Organization on the Worst Forms of Child Labour and Immediate Action for their Elimination, adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 87th session, held in Geneva on 17 June 1999. »

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development, the Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs and the Secretary of State for Trade, Crafts, Consumer Affairs and Social and Solidarity Economy are responsible, each with regard to it, for the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
