Vu le Decree No. 53-192 of 14 March 1953 amended on the ratification and publication of international commitments undertaken by France;
Vu le Decree No. 87-349 of 22 May 1987 publishing the agreement between the Government of the French Republic and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics with a view to avoiding the double taxation of revenues (a protocol) signed in Paris on 4 October 1985,
Decrete:
The note verbale of 11 December 2014 taking note of the extinction of the convention of 4 October 1985 between the Government of the French Republic and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics with a view to avoiding the double taxation of revenues (a whole protocol) in its relations with Tajikistan, will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
The Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development are responsible, each with respect to him, for the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.

The French Embassy presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and has the honour to share the following.
The French government takes note of the information provided by the Tajik government in its note verbale No. 13-7 (2124) dated 5 August 2014.
The competent French authorities consider, for their part, that the 1985 tax treaty signed between the Government of the French Republic and the Government of the USSR will cease to produce its effects between France and Tajikistan on 31 December 2014.
The French Embassy takes this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan the assurances of its highest consideration.
