Having regard to Commission Regulation (EU) No. 142/2011 of 25 February 2011 amended implementing Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009 of the European Parliament and the Council establishing sanitary rules applicable to animal by-products and products derived not intended for human consumption and applying Council Directive 97/78/EC with respect to certain samples and articles exempted from veterinary controls carried out at the borders under this Directive;
Considering the amended decision of 17 March 1992 on the conditions to be met by the butchery slaughterhouses for the production and marketing of fresh meat and determining the conditions for the sanitary inspection of these establishments;
Considering the opinion of the ANSES of 13 September 2013 concerning case No. 2012-SA-0090 and concerning the analysis of certain measures of reduction of infectivity, complementary to the European and specific measures of France aimed at protecting the consumer vis-à-vis the agent of communicable spongiform encephalopathies (EST) in the small ruminant sectors,
Stop:
The Order of March 20, 2003 on sanitary conditions governing the use, marketing, trade, imports and exports of certain animal products intended for the food and manufacture of livestock feeds or other uses is repealed.
The Order of August 4, 2005 on sanitary conditions governing intra-community exchanges, imports and exports of certain products containing or prepared from animal materials intended for the food and manufacture of pet food is repealed.
The Director General of Food, the Director General of Customs and Indirect Rights, the Director General of Competition, Consumption and Suppression of Frauds and the prefects are responsible, each with respect to him, for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
