Notice: to Article 18 of Act No. 2013-659 of 22 July 2013 concerning the representation of the French established outside France, "the voters are summoned by decree published: ... 2° Twenty and one day at least before the date of the election, for the election of the councillors to the French Assembly of the Abroad".
This decree enforces these provisions and fixes the date of the vote in the ballot box on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Members of the Electoral College may also vote by proxy and on Friday, 20 February 2015, hand over their vote in their own hands under the conditions laid down by the Act of 22 July 2013 and the applicable regulations.

On the report of the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development,
Vu le Electoral code ;
Vu la Act No. 2013-659 of 22 July 2013 relating to the representation of the French established outside France, including articles 18 and 29;
Vu le Decree No. 2014-290 of 4 March 2014 bringing electoral provisions relating to the representation of the French established outside France;
Having regard to the decision of 13 January 2014 setting out the Chief Electoral Officers for the election of consular advisers and advisers to the Assembly of French Foreigners;
Having regard to Decision No. 382743 of the State Council of 10 December 2014;
Considering the vacancy of the seats of adviser to the Assembly of the French foreign exchange of the United States of America,
Decrete:
Members of the electoral college of the electoral district of the United States of America delimited in accordance with the table annexed to article 32 of the above-mentioned Act of 22 July 2013 are summoned to proceed with the election of advisers to the Assembly of the French abroad.
The ballot will be open on Saturday, February 28, 2015.
Members of the electoral college may also vote by proxy. They will also be able to hand over their own vote to an ambassador or consular post chief of their electoral district on Friday, 20 February 2015, subject to the conditions set out by the Act of 22 July 2013 referred to above and the applicable regulations.
The election will take place on the basis of the list of electors certified by the ambassador or consular officer of each electoral district and scheduled for the electionArticle 34 of the Act of 22 July 2013 referred to above.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development and the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and the French from abroad are responsible, each with regard to it, for the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
