Key Benefits:
An external competition is organized for the recruitment of statistician trainees from the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies in 2015.
The competition includes three specialties: mathematical specialty, economics and social sciences and economics and management speciality.
With regard to mathematical specialty, this competition is an integral part of the joint polytechnic competitions in the field of examination resolution.
With regard to the speciality of economics and social sciences, this competition is an integral part of the competitions for admission to the Écoles Normale Supérieures en Sciences Sociales in the field of examination resolution.
With respect to the speciality of economy and management, this competition is an integral part of the competition to the Cachan High School (Economic and Management competition, Economic and Management option) in the field of examination resolution.
1. Conditions of admission to compete
In addition to the general conditions required for access to public employment in the State:
- possessing French nationality or being a national of one of the Member States of the European Union other than France or another State Party to the agreement on the European Economic Area (*) ;
- enjoy its civil rights;
- justifying a Bulletin No. 2 of the criminal record compatible with the exercise of its functions;
- be recognized physically fit for employment,
candidates must be held, as of September 1 of the year in which the contest is organized, a complete certificate of education in the second year classes in preparation for the admission examinations to the major schools, or a title or diploma classified at least at level III, or a qualification recognized as equivalent to one of these titles or diplomas under the conditions fixed by order of the Minister responsible for the economy and the Minister responsible for the public service.
The qualification requirement is not required for fathers and mothers of at least three children that they raise or have actually raised.
2. Nature and programme of tests
The nature and program of the competition tests are determined by the amended December 2, 2010.
3. Test dates
Written examinations of eligibility for the special economics and social sciences competition will take place from April 23 to 27, 2015.
The oral examinations for admission of this competition will take place from June 15 to July 1, 2015.
Written proof of eligibility for the special economics and management competition will take place from 20 to 23 April 2015.
Oral examinations for admission of this competition will take place from 1 June 2015.
Written examinations of eligibility for the external mathematical speciality competition will take place from May 4 to 6, 2015.
Oral examinations for admission of this competition will take place from June 22 to July 18, 2015.
4. Nominations
Inscriptions to the external contest for the three specialties will only be made via the internet from 10 December 2014 to 10 January 2015 midnight, term of rigor to the following addresses:
