Judgment of 10 July 2014 to establish an automated personal data processing for the national youth resource survey (ENRJ)

It is established at the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies an automated processing of personal data relating to the national survey of youth resources (ENRJ). The collection will take place with 5,000 young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 and their parents.

The purpose of the survey is to describe the various resources of young adults surveyed as far as possible.

The categories of information processed concern:


- the characteristics of the resources of young adults: nature, frequency and amount;
- the identification of aids received and given by the parents of the young adult (and, if applicable, other households or individuals);
- the resources necessary for young adults to access autonomy;
- the weight of helping young adults in the parents' budget;
- relationships between young adults and their parents.


Names and addresses will be subject to computer seizure and will be destroyed no later than thirty months after the collection begins.

The Archives de France are recipients of the individual information collected identifying the persons surveyed, in accordance with the provisions of Article L. 212-4 of the Heritage Code.
The National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies will disseminate individual data files that do not allow any direct or indirect identification of surveyed persons.
Under the conditions set out inArticle 6 of Act No. 51-711 of 7 June 1951 referred to above, individual information derived from the treatment referred to in Article 1 for the identification of persons investigated may be communicated, by decision of the administration of the archives made after the advice of the Committee of Statistical Secret, for public statistics or scientific or historical research.

The rights of access and rectification provided by the articles 39 and 40 Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, applies to the general management of INSEE.

In accordance withArticle 3 of the Act of 7 June 1951 referred to abovepersons are required to respond accurately and within the time constraints of this investigation.
