Notice: this order is intended to set a date for convening of the electoral college for the election of Senators representing the French established outside France.
In accordance with the provisions of the Act organic No. 2005-1562 of 15 December 2005 amending dates of renewal of the Senate which provide for renewal of the mandates of the senators in the series No. 2, whose six senators representing the French established outside France, in September 2014, the electoral colleges are summoned Sunday, September 28, 2014 for electing senators.
Nominations are submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs no later than 6 p.m. on Monday, September 8.
For the election of Senators representing the French established outside France, polling meets at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Furthermore, the members of the electoral college may also vote on Saturday, September 20 in their constituency for election to the Ambassador or the head of a consular post.

The Prime Minister, on the report of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and international development and the Minister of the Interior, pursuant to organic law No. 83-499 17 June 1983 concerning the representation in the Senate of the established French outside France;
Pursuant to law organic No. 2005-1562 of 15 December 2005 amending the dates of the renewals of the Senate;
Having regard to the electoral code;
Having regard to Act No. 83-390 of 18 May 1983 on the election of Senators representing the French established outside France;
Having regard to Act No. 2013 - 659 of July 22, 2013, concerning the representation of the French established outside France;

The electoral college for the election of senators is summoned on Sunday, September 28, 2014 in order to proceed to the election of six senators representing the French established outside France belonging to the series No. 2 in table 5 annexed to the electoral code.

The poll will be open at 9 o'clock and closed at 3 p.m..
By way of derogation from the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the president of the office of the electoral college may declare the poll ended before the scheduled time if it finds that all voters took part in the vote.
The members of the electoral college may also return their vote by hand an Ambassador or a consular office of their election constituency leader, Saturday, September 20, 2014, 10 hours to 12 hours (local statutory hours), under the conditions laid down in article 51 of the Act July 22, 2013 above and by the Decree of 4 March 2014 referred to above.
