The modalities for accreditation of the establishments mentioned in Chapter II of Title I of Book VIII of the Rural Code and Maritime Fisheries to issue national degrees listed by theSection D. 613-6 of the Education Code, alone or jointly with public institutions of a scientific, cultural and professional character, shall be established by the decrees of 22 January 2014 referred to above subject to the provisions of this Decree.
The procedure for accreditation of agricultural higher education institutions to issue national diplomas is based on the instruction of a file by the Minister for Higher Education and the Minister for Agriculture. This file is forwarded to these Ministers by the Director or Director General, accompanied by the deliberation of the board of directors of the institution taken after advice from the board of teachers and the board of education and student life.
The accreditation file takes into account, in addition to the expectations set out in Article 3 of the Decree of January 22, 2014, setting out the modalities for accreditation of higher education institutions, the public policies carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and those to which it participates.
The National Council for Higher Education and Agricultural, Agri-Food and Veterinary Research is consulted on the accreditation of the institutions referred to in Article 1 prior to the consultation of the National Council for Higher Education and Research provided for by theSection L. 613-1 of the Education Code. He bases his opinion on the accreditation file.
The Director General for Higher Education and Vocational Inclusion at the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, the Director General of Education and Research at the Ministry of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry, and the directors and directors general of agricultural higher education institutions are responsible, each with respect to it, for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the French Republic.
