Key Benefits:
The opening of a professional competition for access to the grade of inspector of the 2nd class driver's licence and road safety is authorized under 2014.
This professional examination is open to inspectors of the 3rd class driver's licence and road safety justifying at least one year in the 4th step of their grade and at least three years of actual service in a body, job frame or job of category B or the same level.
The number of positions offered at the professional competition will be determined later by ministerial order.
The application is made, at the choice of the candidate, by electronic means or by post.
1. Electronic registration
It must be carried out on the website of the Ministry of Interior: www.interieur.gouv.fr under the heading "Our Trades, Administration, Driving and Road Safety Link, Competition Calendar and Registration".
The closing date for electronic registration is Tuesday, 29 April 2014, at 12 p.m. (Paris time), term of rigor.
In order for the candidate to be considered as valid, the candidate must:
- to validate its registration on the electronic service within the time limit;
― send any supporting documents that may be required to the selected examination centre.
The deadline for sending supporting documents is Friday, May 2, 2014, the term of rigor, the stamp of the position being held.
A certificate of registration will be sent to the candidate electronically.
2. Postal registration
2.1. Withdrawal of registration forms
The withdrawal of registration forms is made to the candidate's choice by download, mail or withdrawal on site.
2.1.1. Download
On the website www.interieur.gouv.fr under the heading "Our Trades, Administration, Driving and Road Safety, Competition Calendar and Registration".
The deadline for withdrawal of registration forms by download is Friday, 2 May 2014, at 4 p.m. (Paris time), term of rigor.
2.1.2. By mail or withdrawal on site
By attaching an envelope (A4 format) to the current tariff for a letter up to 100 g (recorded to the candidate's name and address) or by withdrawal on site:
- for the overseas: from the Office of Human Resources of Prefectures or High Commissions (see annex);
– for all: in the Ministry of Interior, SG/DRH/SDRF/BRPP-Pôle contest, 27, les Petites-Ecuries course, 77185 Lognes.
The deadline for withdrawal of mailing registration forms is Wednesday, April 23, 2014, a term of rigor (the stamp of the post being held).
The deadline for withdrawal of on-site registration forms is Friday, 2 May 2014, at 4 p.m. (Paris time), term of rigor.
2.2. Procedures for transmitting registration files by mail
Applicants residing in metropolis will have to send the registration file to the Ministry of Interior, SG/DRH/SDRF/BRPP-Pôle concours, 27, Cours des Petites-Ecuries, 77185 Lognes.
Ultramarine candidates will have to send the registration file to the human resources office of the prefecture or the chosen high commissioner.
This registration file will necessarily include:
― the registration form for the contest (external or internal) duly completed, dated and signed;
- any supporting documentation required;
― a self-adhesive envelope (standard format) that is off the current tariff for a letter up to 20 g (recorded to the candidate's name and address).
The closing date for posting is Friday, 2 May 2014, a term of rigor (the stamp of the post being held).
Any incomplete or misreported file will be rejected.
3. Written and oral evidence
The expected date of the written test is Tuesday, September 23, 2014. This event will take place in Ile-de-France.
To the extent that at least one application would be registered, examination centres will be opened in the following overseas departments and communities: Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyane, La Réunion, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Mayotte, French Polynesia, Nouvelle-Calédonie.
The oral event will take place in Lognes (Seine-et-Marne) between November 3 and November 23, 2014 (forecast dates).
Jury
The composition of the jury will be subject to a subsequent order by the Minister of Interior, which will be published in the Official Bulletin of the Ministry of Interior.
The Secretary General is responsible for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
