Key Benefits:
By order of the Minister of Defence dated 19 December 2013, the opening of a professional examination for access to the rank of senior engineering and manufacturing technician at the first level of the Ministry of Defence is authorized under the 2013 year.
This professional examination is open to senior technicians of 2nd class studies and manufactures of the Ministry of Defence who meet, as of 31 December 2013, the statutory requirements required under Article 25-II (1°) of Decree No. 2009-1388 of 11 November 2009 amended bearing statutory provisions common to various bodies of civil servants of category B of the public service of the State.
The total number of positions offered for professional examination is subject to a subsequent order.
The deadline for the withdrawal of registration and recognition records from the professional experience (RAEP) is Tuesday, 18 February 2014, at 12 o'clock, Paris time, term of rigor.
The closing date for registration is Tuesday, February 18, 2014 inclusive, the stamp of the position being held.
The written eligibility test is held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
It takes place in the examination centers created by the departmental management centres (CMG) in Lyon, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Metz, Rennes, Bordeaux and Toulon.
Overseas departments and communities are attached to the CMG of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Examination centres are systematically established in the event of a nomination.
The candidates are summoned by the above-mentioned CMGs in a timely manner to undergo the written test. However, the failure to receive the summons does not in any way imply the responsibility of the administration.
For the oral admission test, only eligible candidates will send their RAEP file in four copies to the departmental management centre in Lyon, no later than Friday, June 27, 2014, the stamp of the position being held.
The oral admission test takes place in Lyon from Monday, September 8, 2014.
Eligible candidates are convened in a timely manner by the Lyon Departmental Management Centre for oral examination. However, the failure to receive the summons does not in any way imply the responsibility of the administration.
The jury's secretariat for the professional examination is provided by an officer of the Lyon Departmental Management Centre.
Registration procedure:
1. Withdrawal of registration and RAEP files
The attention of the candidates is particularly called on the need not to wait the last days to register.
They can obtain the registration and RAEP files until Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at 12 o'clock, Paris time, term of rigor, as follows:
(a) Downloading registration and RAEP files:
― via the internet: http://www.concours-civils.defense.gouv.fr ; or
― by intradef: http://portail.sga.defense.gouv.fr/space-ministeriel-rh ;
(b) Application of registration and RAEP files by post:
At the Lyon Departmental Management Centre, Recruitment-Training Division, Recruitment-Competition Office, General-Frère, BP 41, 69998 Lyon Cedex 07.
Applicants who have chosen to remove the registration and RAEP files by mail must attach to their application an A4 envelope freed at Euro2.55 and labeled to their name and address, so that the files are forwarded to them in return.
2. Filing of the registration file
The registration file consists of the registration form issued by the administration.
After completing this registration form, the candidates will send it by Tuesday, February 18, 2014, the closing date of the registrations, the stamp of the position being shown, directly to the CMG recruitment office of their geographic assignment department. The CMG coordinates are listed in the table below.
Any file in an envelope bearing a post cachet after Tuesday, February 18, 2014 or in an envelope bearing no post cachet is refused.
3. Filing of the RAEP file
Candidates who are eligible to submit to the CMG in Lyon, whose contact information is shown in the table below, their RAEP file in four copies upon publication of the eligibility list on the above-mentioned websites or intradefs, and no later than Friday, June 27, 2014.
