Pursuant to the provisions set out in c of I of Article 6 of the amended Decree of 16 January 1991 referred to above, the regulation and programme of the professional examination of access to the body of the electronic engineers of the air safety systems are fixed in the following terms.
The professional examination is opened by an order of the Minister for Civil Aviation who sets the deadline for applications, the date of the tests and the number of positions to be filled in accordance with thearticle 2 of the decree of 19 October 2004 referred to above.
The jury of the professional examination is designated by order of the Minister for Civil Aviation.
The Minister for Civil Aviation shall determine the list of candidates authorized to compete.
The professional examination has three oral admission tests.
OBLIGATIONS OF ADMISSION
I. - Oral technical tests
(a) Basic and applied electronics (duration: 50 minutes, coefficient 1).
(b) Information technology (duration: 50 minutes, coefficient 1).
Note: The program of these tests is annexed to this Order.
II. ― Professional care
(duration: 50 minutes, coefficient 1)
The professional maintenance will take place in two parts:
– a 20-minute presentation during which the candidate will have to present his/her career path by highlighting the knowledge of his/her work environment, his/her professional qualities, his/her technical skills, and the motivations that push him to pass the professional examination of access to the body of electronic engineers of air safety systems;
– a 30-minute conversation with the jury where he can be questioned on issues related to the organization of the DGAC, the positioning of the IESSA body in it, the career development and the functions occupied by the IESSA.
Each test is assigned a score of 0 to 20.
A score less than 5 than one of the three oral tests is eliminated.
Can only be declared admitted to candidates with an average of at least 10 out of 20.
At the end of these trials, the jury lists the candidates admitted in order of merit.
The October 31, 2012 Order setting out the regulations and program for the professional examination of electron engineers in air safety systems and the schedule to that Order are repealed.
The Director General of Civil Aviation is responsible for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.

ELECTRONIC HEALTH SYSTEMS
OBLIGATIONS OF ADMISSION
I. ― Oral technical tests
(a) Basic and applied electronics (duration 50 minutes, coefficient 1):
General knowledge of passive components (inductances, capacities) and active components (diodes, transistors and thyristors);
― main functions of analog electronics (operational amplifiers, filtering, oscillation, modulation, demodulation) and digital (combination and sequential functions, numeration systems).
(b) Information technology (duration 50 minutes, coefficient 1):
– architecture of a computer system;
- concept of operating system;
- concept of programming language;
- concept of computer network.
