On the report of the Seal Guard, Minister of Justice, and the Minister of State Reform, Decentralization and Public Service,
Vu la Act No. 83-634 of 13 July 1983 amendments to the rights and obligations of civil servants, together with Act No. 84-16 of 11 January 1984 amended with statutory provisions relating to the public service of the State;
Vu le Decree No. 85-986 of 16 September 1985 amended on the particular regime of certain positions of State officials, the provision, integration and the final termination of functions;
Vu le Decree No. 2008-1483 of 22 December 2008 bringing transitional provisions concerning the creation of the body of the administrative assistants of the Ministry of Justice and the body of the technical assistants of the Ministry of Justice;
Having regard to the advice of the departmental technical committee of the Ministry of Justice dated 11 December 2012;
The State Council (Section of Administration) heard,
Decrete:
On the date of entry into force of this decree, officials under the body of technical agents for the education of the judicial protection of youth governed by the Decree No. 97-925 of 8 October 1997 bearing special status of the body of the technical agents of the education of the judicial protection of youth are integrated into the body of the technical assistants of the Ministry of Justice created by the decree of 22 December 2008 referred to above.
Technical youth protection education officers are reclassified to grade and level identity in accordance with the following table:

The services performed in the body of the technical officers for the education of the judicial protection of youth are assimilated to services performed in the body of the technical assistants of the Ministry of Justice.
Technical agents for the education of the judicial protection of young people who have been detached from the date of entry into force of this decree shall continue their detachment in the body, employment framework or employment in which they are detached.
When they are reintegrated, they are classified in the body of the technical assistants of the Ministry of Justice in application of the provisions of article 26-2 of the decree of 16 September 1985 referred to above.
The technical agents for the education of the judicial protection of youth placed in a position of availability on the date of entry into force of this decree remain in this position until they request their reintegration. They are integrated in accordance with provisions of article 49 of the decree of 16 September 1985 referred to above, in the body of the technical assistants of the Ministry of Justice and classified in this body pursuant to the provisions of Article 1 by retaining the seniority they acquired at the time of their placement in availability.
Technical agents for the education of the judicial protection of young people who wish to assert their right to pension are reintegrated into the body of the technical assistants of the Ministry of Justice in accordance with the provisions of Article 1 and placed on the same day on retirement.
This Order comes into force on the first day of the month following its publication in the Official Journal of the French Republic. On that same date, Decree No. 97-925 of 8 October 1997 bearing the special status of the body of the technical agents of the education of the judicial protection of youth and Decree No. 2008-1267 of 3 December 2008 on the termination of the body of the technical agents of the education of the judicial protection of youth are repealed.
The Minister of Justice, the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Minister of State Reform, Decentralization and Public Service, and the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance, in charge of the budget, are responsible, each with regard to the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
