For the year 2013, the professional examinations for the advancement of:
the main technician: the number of places offered is 10;
― Chief Technician: the number of places offered is 61.
Candidates for advancement to the rank of senior technician:
The senior technicians of the 1st grade of the department responsible for agriculture, who justify at least one year in the 4th grade of their grade and at least three years of actual service in a body, job or job in category B or level.
For the advancement to the rank of chief technician:
The senior technicians of the Ministry of Agriculture who justify at least two years in the 5th level of their grade as at 31 December 2013 and at least three years of actual service in a body, job or job in category B or at the same level.
The application will be prepared by pre-registration on the website: www.concours.agriculture.gouv.fr from May 30, 2013 and until July 4, 2013.
Each candidate will receive a confirmation of registration with an administrative print to justify his or her grade and step in the body of the superior technicians, as well as an acknowledgement of receipt.
This pre-registration will be subject to a confirmation of registration that will have to be returned, validated and signed by the candidate for the last 18 July 2013 (the stamp of the position being held).
Any candidate who would not receive these documents within the days of his or her pre-registration should be concerned with the professional examinations listed below.
The written examinations of the two professional examinations will take place on 17 October 2013, in the following centres: Ajaccio, Amiens, Bordeaux, Cachan, Dijon, Lyon, Montpellier, Rennes, Toulouse. Centres will also be opened in overseas departments and communities based on nominations.
Candidates who are declared eligible at the end of the written test will have to send their record of recognition of their professional experience (RAEP) for December 19, 2013 (the stamp of the position being held).

The oral examination for admission to the rank of chief technician will take place from 4 February 2014 in Paris.
