Notice: this decree amends the Decree No. 93-161 of 3 February 1993 setting out the conditions under which officials designated by the Minister for Hydrocarbons may be authorized and sworn under the Act No. 92-1443 of 31 December 1992 reforming the oil regime in order to transpose the provisions of Council Directive 2009/119/EC of 14 September 2009 requiring Member States to maintain a minimum level of crude oil and/or product stocks, by assigning authorized and sworn French officials for the control of strategic stocks the support mission of the agents mandated by the European Commission.

The Prime Minister,
On the report of the Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy,
Having regard to Council Directive 2009/119/EC of 14 September 2009 requiring Member States to maintain a minimum level of crude oil and/or petroleum products, including Article 18;
Vu la Act No. 92-1443 of 31 December 1992 amended to reform the oil regime;
Vu le Decree No. 93-161 of 3 February 1993 setting out the conditions under which officials designated by the Minister for Hydrocarbons may be authorized and sworn under the Act No. 92-1443 of 31 December 1992 reforming the oil regime;
The State Council (section of public works) heard,
Decrete:
An article 2-1 is added to the above-mentioned decree of 3 February 1993 which reads as follows:
"Art. 2-1.-In addition to the missions they carry out under Article 1 they provide assistance to persons authorized by the European Commission to conduct the examinations referred to in Article 18 of Council Directive 2009/119/EC of 14 September 2009 requiring Member States to maintain a minimum level of crude oil and/or petroleum products. »
The Minister of Productive Recovery and the Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy are responsible, each with respect to it, for the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
