Key Benefits:
By order of the Minister of the Interior dated 30 August 2012, is authorized under the year 2013 to open a professional examination for access to the rank of Senior Administrative Secretary of the Interior and Overseas.
This examination is open to the regular-class administrative secretaries of the interior and the overseas jurisdiction, as of December 31, 2013, for at least one year in the 4th grade of the normal-class administrative secretary of the interior and overseas jurisdiction and for at least three years of actual service in a body, job framework or job of category B or level.
The number of positions offered for review will be determined later by a ministerial order.
The application to compete is made at the choice of the candidate:
(a) Whether via telematics on the website of the Ministry of Interior: www.interieur.gouv.fr, under the heading "Les Métiers ― secteur administrative ―category B ― examination professionnelle".
The deadline for closing telematic registrations is 24 October 2012, at 6 p.m. (Paris time), a term of rigor.
The applicant must make the validation of his or her registration on the telematics service within the deadline for his or her application to be considered valid.
The necessary supporting documentation should be sent by 26 October 2012 by post only (the stamp of the position being authentic):
- at the prefecture of the region, centre of examination of their choice for candidates residing in the province (see annex);
- at the prefecture or high commissioning of their choice for candidates residing in overseas departments and communities (see annex);
―at the Ministry of the Interior (SG/DRH/SDRF/BRPP, competitive examination, professional examination of the senior administrative secretary, to the attention of Ms. Murielle Richard, 27, les Petites-Ecuries courses, 77185 Lognes) for candidates residing in Paris and Ile-de-France.
(b) Or by post:
The withdrawal of the registration form is made at the choice of the candidate:
―to be downloaded on the website of the Ministry of the Interior: www.interieur.gouv.fr, under the heading "Thirties ― administrative sector ― category B ― professional examination";
- either on-site withdrawal from the services indicated in the annexes;
either by written request to the above-mentioned services for the sending of the supporting documents, by attaching to the application an A4 envelope that is available at the current rate for a letter of up to 100 g and labeled on behalf of the applicant.
The deadline for withdrawal of the registration form by download is 26 October 2012, at 6 p.m. (Paris time), term of rigor.
The deadline for withdrawal of the on-site registration form is 26 October 2012, at 4 p.m. (Paris time).
The deadline for the withdrawal of the registration form by mail is October 19, 2012, the term of rigor, the stamp of the position being authentic.

Applicants will have to send, by post only, their completed, dated and signed registration file to the selected registration centre (see annexes).
This registration file must include:
the registration form;
– any supporting documentation required.
Any application for incomplete or poorly informed attendance will be rejected.
The closing date of the registration is fixed on 26 October 2012, the term of rigor, the stamp of the position being held.
The expected date of the written test is January 17, 2013. The written test will be held:
― for agents assigned in metropolis, outside the Ile-de-France region, in one of the following 21 examination centres:
