Notice: the decree sets out the principles to be followed by the restoration services of penitentiary institutions to ensure sufficient nutritional quality of meals and refers to an inter-ministerial order to specify these requirements.

This decree is taken for the application of Article L. 230-5 of the Rural Code and the Maritime Fishing, from theArticle 1 of Act No. 2010-874 of 27 July 2010 modernization of agriculture and fisheries.

In view of the rural and maritime fisheries code, including article L. 230-5,
Decrete:
Section 3 of the preliminary chapter of Book II title III of the Rural Code and Maritime Fisheries Act is amended as follows:
1° Article D. 230-26 becomes Article D. 230-27.
2° The section is supplemented by the following:
"Art. D. 230-26.-In order to achieve the nutritional balance objective of the meals served by the correctional services of the penitentiary institutions, are required in accordance with Article L. 230-5:
"– Respect for variety requirements of dishes served to prevent deficiencies;
“– four or five dishes offered at each lunch or dinner, including necessarily a main dish with a garnish and a dairy product;
“—the provision of suitable portions.
"The provisions of this section are specified by a joint order of the Minister of Justice and ministers responsible for food, health, consumption and overseas. »
The provisions of this Decree shall enter into force on 1 July 2013.
