Military and seconded staff Decree of 21 November 2011 A right of draw, in the form of points allowances, which allows them, within the limits fixed by instruction of the Minister of Defence for each army, service or direction, to renew the effect or accessory of their choice among those belonging to their packages, to obtain a new article and to carry out the associated finishing work.
The finishing work referred to in the preceding paragraph covers repair and processing work, alterations and adjustments, galoning, seating, attribute laying, all assembly work and the provision of decorations, with the exception of foreign decorations or specific to national orders.
The terms and conditions for the allocation of the original allowance shall be determined by instruction of the Minister of Defence.
Subsequent allocations are allocated semi-annually.
The allocation in points is established taking into account, inter alia, the status, body, grade, sex, employment and place of duty.
Unused items may be accumulated within a limit not exceeding three years, in accordance with the terms fixed by instruction of the Minister of Defence.
The right to draw is open for the acquisition of civil effects to the military performing functions requiring the wearing of civil suit for specific missions.
However, the military referred to in the previous paragraph retain a reduced draw fee for the renewal of their military effects.
The administration may assign effects or accessories or make the replacement of the destroyed, deteriorated or lost effects without imputation of the member's right to draw.
Members may also obtain at their own expense certain effects and accessories of the package, subject to limitations for each army, service or direction by instruction of the Minister of Defence.
This Order comes into force on 1 January 2012.
The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, the Chief Military Officer and the Secretary General for Administration are responsible, each with regard to it, for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
