Subject: insurance period required for insured persons born in 1955 to receive a full-rate pension.
Entry into force: the day after the publication for insured persons born in 1955.
Notice: The purpose of this Order is to increase to 166 quarters the required insurance period for insured persons born in 1955 to receive a full-rate pension; pursuant to the provisions of section 5 of the Act of 21 August 2003 on pension reform, as amended by section 17 of the Act of 9 November 2010 on pension reform, this number of quarters is fixed in such a way as to keep the report recorded in 2003 between, on the one hand, the required duration of insurance or the duration of the services and bonuses necessary to benefit from a full-rate pension and, on the other, the average retirement period.

Vu la Act No. 2003-775 of 21 August 2003 amended to reform pensions, including article 5 in its drafting Act No. 2010-1330 of 9 November 2010 reforming pensions;
Having regard to the advice of the Board of Directors of the National Pension Insurance Fund of Employees on 20 July 2011;
Considering the opinion of the Central Board of Directors of the Agricultural Social Mutuality of 20 July 2011;
Having regard to the advice of the Board of the National Health Insurance Fund of Employees dated 26 July 2011;
Considering the opinion of the Standards Advisory Board dated 28 July 2011;
In light of the Board's technical advice of 6 July 2011,
Decrete:
The duration of insurance required to receive a full-rate pension and the duration of the services and bonuses required to obtain the maximum percentage of a civil or military pension are set at 166 quarters for insured persons born in 1955.
The Minister of Labour, Employment and Health, the Minister of Budget, Public Accounts and State Reform, spokesman for the Government, the Minister of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries, Rurality and Land Management, and the Minister of the Public Service are responsible for the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
