In article 1 of the above-mentioned decree of 18 February 2003, the words "decree of 28 June 1978 referred to above" are replaced by the words: " Decree No. 2008-947 of 12 September 2008 setting certain provisions applicable to military students in military schools of career cadets".
Sections 2 to 6 of the above-mentioned 18 February 2003 Order are repealed.
Section 7 of the same order is amended as follows:
1° In the first paragraph, the words: "the decrees of 22 October 1973, 20 December 1973 and 22 April 1974 referred to above and the texts taken for their application" are replaced by the words: "the Defence code » ;
2° In the second paragraph, the words "disciplinary board" are replaced by the words "instruction board";
3° The last two paragraphs are deleted.
Section 8 of the same order is replaced by an article 8 as follows:
"Art. 8.-The duration of the studies is one, two, three or six years depending on the competitive examination provided by the Decree No. 2008-940 of 12 September 2008 amended bearing the special status of the corps of the army's arms officers. »
Section 11 of the same order is amended as follows:
1° In the first paragraph, the words: "to the instruction council provided for in the decree of 28 June 1978 referred to above" are replaced by the words: "to the general commander of the schools";
2° The second paragraph is deleted.
Section 14 of the same order is repealed.
Section 16 of the same order is amended as follows:
1° The words: " (3 years, 2 years or 1 year)," are deleted;
2° It is added to four subparagraphs as follows:
"The students are classified according to the following:
1° Students who have completed two or three years of training;
2° Students who followed a one-year training;
3° Students who completed a six-year training. »
Article 18 of the same order is replaced by an article 18 as follows:
"Art. 18.-The Jury of Diploma is composed of nine members, appointed by an annual decree of the Minister of Defence (Head of the Army Staff).
He is presided over by an officer-general with a rank of army general, assisted by a vice-president selected from university professors.
The other seven members of the Diploma Jury are:
the general commanding the school or its representative;
two academics;
two senior officers in charge of training at school;
– two teaching officers at school, including at least one university. »
The last paragraph of section 21 of the same order is replaced by a sub-paragraph as follows:
"The degree is awarded to the student who obtains the minimum average score of 10 out of 20. »
Article 22 of the same order is replaced by an article 22 as follows:
"Art. 22.-The credentials are four: passable, good enough, good and very well.
The averages entitled to the attribution of these references are:
16 of 20 for the mention "very good" ;
14 of 20 for the mention "good" ;
12 out of 20 for the mention " quite well" ;
10 of 20 for the mention "passable". »
Sections 2 to 6 of the above-mentioned dated June 6, 1995 are repealed.
Section 7 of the same order is amended as follows:
1° In the first paragraph, the words: "the decrees of 22 October 1973, decree of 20 December 1973 and decree of 22 April 1974 referred to above and the texts taken for their application" are replaced by the words: "the Defence code » ;
2° In the second paragraph, the words "disciplinary board" are replaced by the words "instruction board";
3° The last three paragraphs are deleted.
In article 8 of the same order, the words: "of 22 December 1975 referred to above" are replaced by the words: "No. 2008-940 of 12 September 2008 amended bearing the special status of the corps of arms officers of the army of land".
Section 10 of the same order is amended as follows:
1° In the first paragraph, the words: "to the instruction council provided for in the decree of 28 June 1978 referred to above" are replaced by the words: "to the general commander of the schools";
2° The second paragraph is deleted.
The second and third paragraphs of Article 12 of the same Order shall be replaced by a paragraph to read:
"Students affected by one of these measures are not listed at the end of the year. Students who are admitted to redoubled are attached to the promotion with which they redouble. »
Section 13 of the same order is repealed.
Article 17 of the same order is replaced by an article 17 as follows:
"Art. 17.-The Jury of Diploma is composed of seven members appointed by annual decree of the Minister of Defence (Head of the Army Staff).
He is presided over by an officer-general, assisted by a vice-president selected among university professors.
The other five members of the Diploma Jury are:
the general commanding the schools or its representative;
two senior officers in charge of training at school;
– two teaching officers at the school, teachers of the teaching bodies of the ministry responsible for national education.
The jury's proposals are issued by a majority vote. »
Section 19 of the same order is repealed.
The last two paragraphs of section 20 of the same order are replaced by a paragraph as follows:
"The diploma of the Inter-Military Military School is awarded to the student who obtains the minimum average score of 10 out of 20, subject to having obtained the minimum average score of 10 out of 20 in each of the training, military and academic components. »
Article 22 of the same order is replaced by an article 22 as follows:
"Art. 22.-The credentials are four: passable, good enough, good and very well.
The averages entitled to the attribution of these references are:
16 of 20 for the mention "very good" ;
14 of 20 for the mention "good" ;
12 out of 20 for the mention " quite well" ;
10 of 20 for the mention "passable". »
The provisions of this Order come into force on 1 June 2011, with the exception of the provisions of Articles 9 and 19 which come into force on 1 September 2011.
The Director of Human Resources of the Land Army is responsible for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
