The Minister of Higher Education and Research,
Considering the code of education, and in particular Articles L. 642 et seq;
Given the mutual recognition agreement on the exercise of the engineering profession signed by the commission for engineering qualifications and the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers dated 3 June 2006;
Given the arrangements for the mutual recognition of professional qualifications signed between the commission for engineering qualifications and some professional orders in Quebec as part of the agreement between France and Quebec on mutual recognition of professional qualifications signed dated October 17, 2008;
Considering the opinion of the commission for engineering qualifications dated 8 March 2011

Canadian holders of a diploma obtained at the end of a school accredited by the Canadian Engineering program office Qualifications and entitled to use the title of "engineer" are allowed, at their request, to wear in France the title of French engineering graduate. The title must be followed in the name of school and shall state the country of origin, namely Canada.
Holders of a diploma at the end of a study of a Quebec university program in engineering, agronomy, chemistry and forestry recognized by a professional order and having the right to the title in Quebec " engineering "" agronomist "," chemist ", or" forest engineer "are authorized, at their request, to wear in France the title of French engineering graduate. The title must be followed in the name of school and shall state the country of origin, namely Canada.
