Annexes I and II respectively for the program for the external competition and the internal competition for higher technical studies and the operation of civil aviation are cancelled and replaced by the annexes to this order.

Annex A N N E X E S A N N E X E I program of competition external of technicians superiors of studies and of the operation of the AVIATION civil events written eligibility i. ― written exams mandatory 1. French (duration: 3 hours, coefficient 3).
Test of French composition must above all to assess the qualities of style of the candidate, his ability to articulate a question and write correctly.
The format and spelling of the copy will affect the score given to the candidate.
2. mathematics (duration: 2 hours, coefficient 3).
Force of the terminale STG class program (specialties "marketing", "accounting and finance of enterprises", "information systems management").
II. — optional mandatory written tests (the candidate must choose one of the following tests.)
1. mathematics and Physics (duration: 3 hours, coefficient 6).
Mathematics and physics program in force of the S Terminal class.
2 Science and industrial technologies (duration: 3 hours, coefficient 6).
Program in force of technological Terminal class, series TSI.
III. — Optional written tests (maximum of 2 events) 1. Aeronautical knowledge (duration: 1 hour, coefficient 1).
The test consists of a survey of the candidate's general knowledge in technical areas and control of air traffic. The test won't have a complex problems but may include simple calculations or the application of standard formulas.
The event focuses on the following subjects: has) Navigation and radio navigation: basic Definitions (North, roads, caps, etc.).
Units, Mercator and Lambert cards. Practical use.
The triangle of velocities. Resolution of the triangle of velocities.
Problems common to conversion of units.
Calculating the midpoint, the point of no return, the diversion.
Concepts on the measurement of speed and altitude, speed correction, basic calculations.
Notions in common radionavigation enroute and landing equipment and facilities.
Description, use, scopes, principle.
Note. ― Use of maps, rapporteurs and meter is included in the program.
b) Meteorology: fundamentals on the masses of air, cloud types, frontologie.
Pressure, humidity.
Dangerous phenomena for Aeronautics: icing, turbulence, storms, mist.
c) air traffic control: rules of the air. The air traffic services.
Organization of the control procedures in force.
Procedures for approach and aerodrome control, the regional control.
Aeronautical information, AIP.
Messages.
Altimetry.
Alert service.
d) aeronautical and aerodynamic Technique: the aircraft. Description. The constituent elements. The cell.
The control surfaces. High lift devices.
Element of aerodynamics. Lift. Drag. Equations of the flight. In level flight, uphill, downhill.
Concepts on the thrusters. Description. Elements.
Use parameters. Performance.
Concepts on the flight instruments.
2 foreign language other than English (duration: 1 hour, coefficient 1) (German, Spanish, Italian, Russian).
The test should determine the capacity of the candidates to express themselves correctly and understand the documents.
The test may contain either a theme, a version or a trial, or a knowledge assessment test.
The topics will be of general nature, using common vocabulary.
Oral tests for admission IV. ― Mandatory oral examination 1. Interview with the jury (duration: 30 minutes, coefficient 2).
From a text conversation with the jury must to appreciate the qualities of reflection and the candidate's knowledge.
2. English (duration: 30 minutes, coefficient 3).
The test should determine the capacity of the candidates to express themselves correctly and understand sound documents.
The questioning of the candidate is based on authentic records, in English-language excerpts from dialogues or interviews dealing with topical subjects. These extracts are each lasting about two minutes.

Drafting of an administrative memorandum from a documentary record of maximum pages 15 which may include encrypted elements (statistical, accounting, financial and administrative data) including through professional knowledge specific to the field of activity of the Directorate-General of civil aviation and to verify the qualities of analysis and synthesis of the candidate.
