I. OVERVIEW

E-commerce
Keys to success
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris
E-commerce doesn't know the crisis. With this new title of the collection: "Develop and Undertake", the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP) wishes to accompany companies in their conquest of the vast markets opened by the Internet.
Fair competition, respect for distribution networks and vigilance in the face of counterfeiting must guide any commercial approach, the ultimate goal being, for the e-commerçant, to gain the trust of the e-consumer. Clair and practical, this small guide makes recommendations – the steps to follow and the pitfalls to avoid – for any online transaction. The main risks are updated, the European and national legislation passed through the rubble, as well as the judicial decisions that defray the chronicle.

The Status of Administrative Judges
Selection of Decisions of Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions
The collection of the International Association of High Administrative Jurisdictions, published at each triennial congress, is a valuable tool for comparative analysis in administrative law, thus contributing to a better understanding of national legal traditions. This fifth compendium reflects the work of the IX Congress of the Association, which was held in Madrid in 2009. As a follow-up to the theme of this congress, it brings together decisions, among the most significant of their jurisprudence, regarding the execution of decisions of administrative courts. The decisions presented in this volume are those of the following high courts: Algeria, Germany, Belgium, Benin, Canada, Council of Europe, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Senegal, Sweden, Turkey. Each of them has a summary in French and English.

Aurélie Peyrin
In French museums, mediators, lecturers and facilitators accompany visitors and help them to observe, understand and interpret works of art and objects of culture. The attractive image of this trade that attracts thousands of candidates each year contrasts with the professional discomfort expressed by those who practise it.
This book explores the hiatus between the nobility of a public service mission and the fragile position of the mediator within the organization of cultural work. The survey is based on various sources: a hundred interviews with museum professionals, the exploration of the archives of national museums and the analysis of the administrative census of public service personnel conducted by the French Museums Directorate.
The author: Aurélie Peyrin is a doctor in sociology at the Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales. She is currently in charge of studies within the Departmental Public Service Statistical Service, and Associate Researcher at the Maurice Halbwachs Centre (joint research unit, CNRS-EHESS-ENS).

Economic, Social and Environmental Council
Reclassification cells
Economic, Social and Environmental Council
The reclassification cells that are part of the accompanying measures of the dismissed employees are highly sought in the current context of economic crisis. The Economic, Social and Environmental Council, after having made a contrasting assessment, presents a number of action levers to improve its effectiveness. The study suggests, in particular, that all devices be rethought in a logic of anticipation of restructuring and securing professional pathways.

Secrets of international tenders
The assessment of the performance of large nations under international contracts is an excellent measure of geoeconomic strategies. These large contracts for the modernization of equipment and infrastructure, the acquisition of high technologies or the privatization of national operators, are the subject of fierce battles where all blows are allowed. No sector of activity escapes this enormous global battle of political, economic and social order. This issue of Geoeconomy offers a detailed analysis of the issues and reveals the hidden face of some of these major contracts.

Women men
Inequalities to equality?
File by Réjane Sénac-Slawinski
If legal equality between men and women in France is acquired, it is not yet the same in the facts where various discriminations often continue to be exercised directly or indirectly. This dossier highlights and reveals this hiatus between equality of law and the inequalities that persist in reality through a cross-cutting approach. The issues of the debate are introduced by explaining the words through which equality and gender differences are thought. The findings of gender inequalities and the responses of different social actors (institutional, political, professional or social) are then highlighted. Finally, the issues of an equality horizon are examined that would make women and men not identical, but indifferent to their differences, in the sense that it would be ineffective in creating social and political inequality.
The author: Réjane Sénac Slawinski is a research officer at the CNRS, Maurice Halbwachs Centre (EHESS, ENS) and a lecturer at EHESS and Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris-3 University. She is the author of: "The Sex Order". The perception of gender inequalities (PUF, 2007) of parity (PUF, "What do I know?", 2008) and coordinated with Pierre Muller: "Gender and public action: the public-private border in questions" (L'Harmattan, 2009). She was general secretary of the Observatory for Gender Equality (2001-2003).
