Key Benefits:
An external competition is organized for the recruitment of statistician trainees of the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies in 2010.
The contest includes two specialties: economics and mathematics. With regard to mathematical specialty, this competition is an integral part of the joint polytechnic competitions in the field of examination resolution.
1. Conditions of admission to compete
In addition to the general conditions required for access to public employment in the State, candidates must meet the following special conditions:
― possessing French nationality or being a national of one of the Member States of the European Community other than France or another State Party to the agreement on the European Economic Area (*);
- the enjoyment of its civic rights;
- justifying a Bulletin 2 of the criminal record compatible with the performance of its functions;
• be recognized physically fit for employment;
― be a holder, as of September 1 of the year in which the competition is organized for a complete school certificate in the second year classes in preparation for the admission examinations to the major schools, or for a title or diploma classified at least at level III, or a qualification recognized as equivalent to one of these titles or diplomas under the conditions fixed by decree of the Minister responsible for the economy and of the Minister responsible for the public service.
The qualification requirement is not required for fathers and mothers of at least three children that they raise or have actually raised.
2. Nature and programme of tests
The nature and program of the competition tests are determined by the amended 27 January 1997 order.
3. Test dates and locations
The written examinations of eligibility of the special economic competition will take place in Amiens, Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Nancy, Nantes, Orléans, Paris, Poitiers, Reims, Rennes, Rouen, Strasbourg, Toulouse on May 19 and 20, 2010.
Oral admissions will take place in Paris from 5 to 9 July 2010.
Written examinations of eligibility for the external mathematical speciality competition will take place on May 3, 4 and 5, 2010.
Oral admission examinations will take place from June 21 to July 17, 2010.
4. Nominations
Inscriptions to the external competition for the two specialties will only be made via the internet from 5 December 2009 to 15 January 2010, midnight, term of rigor at the following addresses: www.scei-concours.fr (Mathematics Speciality) and www.concours-bce.com (Special Economy).
